Angela Dows served as a pro tempore (substitute/part-time) judge in the Las Vegas Municipal Court. She has the experience to serve the public in this important position. This experience includes: (1) presiding over trials, (2) adjudicating hundreds of cases and (3) conferring with counsel and the parties as to best paths for each individual case.

Angela Dows has been hearing impaired since childhood. She understands the importance of improving court facilities and technology for those with impairments or disabilities. The improvements would be aimed at increasing accessibility to the courts for parties, witnesses, jurors, and other persons who have an interest in attending any court proceeding or participating in other court services, programs, or activities.

Angela Dows has over a decade of experience in litigating criminal law cases, including complex matters with serious potential consequences for clients. Angela Dows will take the same approach as a judge with the Las Vegas Municipal Court, by treating each case with dignity, respect, and individual focus.

Angela Dows has a plan, if elected, to improve technological access to the courts and hearings. This includes advocating for having hearings held through one or more streaming or video viewing platforms. The ability for parties or the public to be able to view non-sealed court hearings is important to not only learn about the court process but also what the roles are of those that participate in said process.
