Municipal Court Judicial Experience

Angela Dows has served as a pro tempore judge in the Las Vegas Municipal Court. She has the experience to serve the public in this important position. This experience includes: (1) presiding over multiple trials, (2) adjudicating cases and (3) conferring with counsel and the parties as to best paths for each individual case.

Trial and Criminal Law Practice

Angela Dows has over a decade of experience in litigating criminal law cases through and following trial, including complex matters with serious potential client consequences. Angela Dows will take the same approach as a judge with the Las Vegas Municipal Court, by treating each case with dignity, respect, and individual focus.

Life Experience

In her practice and life, Angela Dows has interacted with several individuals that have been accused or convicted of crimes. Angela Dows will bring that knowledge and perspective to her job when not only reviewing the programs and services available for a particular case, but also will have a keen understanding of the journey by the family or friends of a defendant through the court process.

Prosecution and Defense Experience

Over the last fifteen years, Angela Dows has either worked or interned in the prosecution and the defense of criminal cases. Angela Dows understands the unique nature and goals in the prosecution and the defense of criminal cases. Angela Dows also understands the legal arguments as well as the procedures necessary in a criminal case from the perspective of the prosecution and the defense.
